Didn't have all the money to pay up front but they gave me time and worked with me great people and very friendly service.

Passing through Coeur d'Alene en-route to Alaska from Tennessee. Stopped at post office and notice passenger-side headlight did not work. A search yirlded Silverlake Automotive. A phone call later we were en-route. After a brief explanation of the specifics, we left the car with Silverlake Automotive. Shortly later the headlight was replaced and we were on our way. Cannot thank Silverlake Automotive enough for working us into their schedule and so quickly completing the work. The employees are friendly, helpful, knowledgable, and thorough. Their price was reasonable, too! A+++++

Josh and the team there were great and very accommodating to my last-minute need for service. We were traveling through CdA and had some trouble with our Mazda. They got us fixed up and on our way so we could continue our vacation. Highly recommend these guys!

The guy behind the counter smelled of lumberjack, and looked into my eyes with a deep, bulging confidence and reassurance that my brakes were only hot, and not damaged beyond repair. He assured me that I would be able to make it home that night, as long as I didn’t mind the screeching sound of forgotten dreams. He reluctantly convinced me that everything in my life would be okay and divine, starting with my brakes. I agreed that it was somewhat an unpleasant noise, but that at the least, I know now that there is a God and I can rest at night knowing that I will not be cast away into the next parking lot I attempt to steal a traffic cone from. Thank you, Silverlake Automotive, for hiring tasteful, boisterous men of class and excellence. They were a gift to my being in a world full of soggy bread.

I recommend this shop with enthusiasm. I made two new friends today in my first experience here. I'll be using them should the need ever arise while spending the summer in Coeur d'Alene. What I really appreciated is the willingness to help me. I am primarily a DIY auto guy. I prefer doing as much of the work my truck as I can. There were a few questions related to my Air Conditioning compressor and condenser replacement I had prior to tackling the job ( I simply wanted them to remove my freon and recharge when my work was done ). They took the time to explain in detail what I was to do for those areas in which I wasn't totally certain, walked out to my truck and pointed it out to me and I was then very confident in my pathway forward. I did so with confidence, brought the truck back and had it recharged. This alone was worth gold. So often, a shop or mechanic has become personally offended by such a situation. Not this team. They were very willing and happy to help me. I was so impressed by this. They will be my go to shop for any work I can't do myself. For sure.

These guys are awesome!! Called the Post Falls location on Thursday afternoon, after having problems with the brakes on my truck. They told me that they were booked up the next day and could not get my vehicle looked at. They then called the Couer D'Alene location, where they were able to not only look at it, but had it repaired by 3:00 that same afternoon. They even brought me back home, and picked me back up when the work was done. Vacation trip saved!! Thank you so much to Josh and the entire crew. I would definitely recommend them. A BIG THANKS AGAIN.
