I recommend this shop with enthusiasm. I made two new friends today in my first experience here. I'll be using them should the need ever arise while spending the summer in Coeur d'Alene. What I really appreciated is the willingness to help me. I am primarily a DIY auto guy. I prefer doing as much of the work my truck as I can. There were a few questions related to my Air Conditioning compressor and condenser replacement I had prior to tackling the job ( I simply wanted them to remove my freon and recharge when my work was done ). They took the time to explain in detail what I was to do for those areas in which I wasn't totally certain, walked out to my truck and pointed it out to me and I was then very confident in my pathway forward. I did so with confidence, brought the truck back and had it recharged. This alone was worth gold. So often, a shop or mechanic has become personally offended by such a situation. Not this team. They were very willing and happy to help me. I was so impressed by this. They will be my go to shop for any work I can't do myself. For sure.

These guys are awesome!! Called the Post Falls location on Thursday afternoon, after having problems with the brakes on my truck. They told me that they were booked up the next day and could not get my vehicle looked at. They then called the Couer D'Alene location, where they were able to not only look at it, but had it repaired by 3:00 that same afternoon. They even brought me back home, and picked me back up when the work was done. Vacation trip saved!! Thank you so much to Josh and the entire crew. I would definitely recommend them. A BIG THANKS AGAIN.

Ryan from Silverlake Automotive is AMAZING!!! We are on a vacation and the check engine light came on. Ryan was able to figure out all we needed was oil and he explained to me that it was not leaking but it used so much because of the type of engine we have and the amount of driving we had done. Ryan and his team were very professional, kind and did not take advantage of me!!!! For that I will be forever grateful and would recommend everyone to use their services . Thank you again!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! While on a cross-country drive, we had some warning lights come on. After calling several shops on the Google list of auto mechanics, we got them and they looked at the car, with great detail and spent quite a bit of time giving us information and opinions to help us make the decision to drive-on. They even asked that we call to let them know when we make it to our destination. We wish more auto shops were like this one!

Highly recommend them!! In February, while volunteering for the community we had a dash fire in our truck. We were devastated because we had just finished restoring our 2013 Ram, new motor, CV joints, rear end, etc etc (except for painting). We almost gave it to the insurance and Alan decided to make some calls to automotive shops and they said they would not be able to fix it except for our local auto shop, Silverlake Automotive. Emerson and their team said they would be able to put it all back together. They did an exceptional job. Within a month we were picking it back up. It was a very reasonable price, we even got a veterans discount. They put in a new dash, console, headliner, visors, carpet and they even threw in the floor mats at no cost. They are a great crew that will help you out and we highly recommend them. Thank you very much for helping us.
